Hi! My name is Tim Wilson. I live in the North East England and I’m a primary school teacher.
I’m a Bible-believing Christian committed to telling people the good news of Jesus Christ. I currently attend Knutsford Methodist Church whilst at home and Hardwick Baptist Church whilst at Uni. I’m an “on trial” local preacher in the Methodist Church. I was involved with Queen’s Campus Christian Union all my time at Uni. As you can see I’m a bit of a denominational mongrel, but you can find out more about that on the My Beliefs page.
I was brought up in a Christian home. Although I always believed Jesus was God and that he died to save sinners this didn’t personally affect me until I was seventeen. I began to recognise I hadn’t been giving Jesus the attention he deserved, considering he died for my sins. Having thought about this for a long time in a service at Easter People suddenly the Holy Spirit grabbed me and I started wanting to have Jesus as Lord over my life. Ever since then I’ve been growing in my understanding of what he’s done for me.
